Rihanna is associated with two different record labels; Def Jam Recordings and Roc Nations.
Def Jam Recordings were founded in 1983 so 34 years ago and they are based in New York City. They are an american record label company and their main focus for music is on hip hop and urban, as well as this their parent company is Universal Music Groups. In the UK they are knows as Def Jam UK and is operated through Virgin EMI. This label has signed on many artists including: Iggy Azalea, Kanye West, 2 chainz, Desiigner, Jeremih, Afrojack and many others.
The other record label is Roc Nations, they are also an american entertainment company founded by Jay Z in 2008. This company has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Roc Nation are a recording label, talent agency, touring and concert production company, music, film and TV production. The company has signed many diverse artists for example: J.Cole, Big sean, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, DJ Khaled and many more.
As well as these two record labels she's also with SRP and Westbury road.
