Once I got more shots for my video I added both of them in and made sure that the actress was singing with the audio in sync and that the video of the traffic went along. I ran into another problem here where the shot that I put into the sequence would be very zoomed in and therefore I couldn't make sure the singing was in sync with the audio because I wouldn't be able to see this. I overcame this by looking around on the software and asking other people, I managed to fix this and I just had to make sure that the size was right and not too zoomed in. All throughout the process I would try to find different filters or effects that I liked but then remove the filter by the end of that editing session. I'd do this because then I would write down the effect that I liked so it was easier for me to put a filter/ effect over the video once it's all done. I went over the video once more just to make sure that it goes altogether and with the audio.
